biography
Fernandez is currently a research associate professor and is Director of the Department of Biomedical Informatics' Center for Biostatistics. As part of her roles within OSU-BMI, she collaborates extensively with researchers in the Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC) and Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS), serving as the biostatistics core director on multiple awards and grants at OSU affiliated with these two centers. She has over 100 publications, a large portion of which are with cancer investigators within the CCC.
Area of Interest
Her research interests are in applied biostatistical methods and high throughput experimental designs and analyses.
