DR.Meera Vaswani joined All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as Postdoctoral fellow, later joined as FACULTY member and got promoted to Full Professor at the same Institute (AIIMS) Dr.vaswani is a Recipient of United Nations Award in University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK • Distinguished International Scientist Collaborative Award (DISCA) NIH, USA • International Visiting Exchange Scientist/Faculty Award NIH, USA • Invited to chair “scientific sessions” in American Psychiatric Association meeting since 2002 • BEST Paper awards • Grants from DST, ICMR, CSIR, DBT • Nominated member of “Board of Directors” by Scientific Council of Skibbereen University, U.K • Elected “on Research Board of Advisers” of American Biographical Institute (ABI) • Awarded Medal of Honor by American Biographical Institute (ABI), USA • Represented India for formulating by-laws of Asia Pacific Society of Alcohol and Addiction Research in Japan I have been invited speaker at several International Symposium / Meetings.
