biography

 Dr. Rossitza Lazova  is currently the Vice President of the International Society of Dermatopathology.  She completed a Pathology residency at the University of Rochester and trained in Dermatopathology with Dr. A. Bernard Ackerman.  She is an Associate-Professor of Dermatology and Pathology and the Director of the Dermatopathology Residency and Fellowship Program at the Department of Dermatology, Yale University,Recently she introduced Imaging Mass Spectrometry as an ancillary method in the diagnosis of difficult melanocytic lesions. She has taught many courses and directed numerous sessions at national and international meetings in the US and throughout the world.
