holds the position of honorary Professor in the Surface Science Research Centre at The University of Liverpool.He has written over 350 scientific publications and conference abstracts on biofilms, antimicrobials, and infection control, authored and edited seven biofilm and microbiology textbooks and provided over 120 presentations world-wide. He is a global key opinion leader on biofilms, antimicrobials, wound infections and infection control. Early in his career Steven held R&D positions at Phenomenex, The British Textile Technology Group, six years as a senior university lecturer in medical microbiology and principal consultant for numerous government and industrial bodies.
