biography

Dr. McGeary is a cognitive-behavioral board certified psychologist who has been trained in multiple empirically-supported treatments for PTSD including Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure. Dr. Cindy McGeary is former Active Duty Air Force and served as the Chief of Training and Research within the largest mental health clinic in the Air Force where she routinely supervised and trained military psychologists and psychiatrists. She has extensive knowledge in the operations and management of an outpatient behavioral health clinic. She has also been trained to provide psychological treatment in primary care settings. Dr. Cindy McGeary has experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) funded research and has published several papers in the areas of military trauma and pain.
