biography

Chung-Souk Han received his academic degrees in Germany including a Doctoral degree in civil engineering from the University of Hanover, Hanover, and Vordiplom and Diplom-Ingenieur degrees in mathematics and applied mechanics from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and the Darmstadt University of Technology, Germany, respectively.  After several years as a post-doctoral fellow and research associate in leading research institutes in Germany and USA he became a university faculty member in 2005.  Currently he is an associate professor at the University of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyoming, USA.  Dr. Han is a recipient of the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) award of the National Science Foundation, USA.
