biography

Dr.John has experience in teaching Under Graduate and Post Graduate students in the field of Fisheries and Aquaculture since 1997 and also served as Assistant Professor in Industrial Fisheries at the College of Marine Science and Technology, Massawa, Eritrea, from 2007-2009. Dr. John has coordinated the International Internship on “Empowerment through Aquaponics” for the students of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, USA, at St.Albert’s College in 2012. Dr.John received the Best Paper Award for his presentation on “Aquaponics – successful experimentation of an aquaculture recirculatory system” at the International Symposium on “Greening Fisheries” in 2013. Dr. John is also the Coordinator for the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, sponsored “STAR College Scheme” at St.Albert’s College since 2012. Dr. John has peer reviewed Research articles in reputed journals like CARYOLOGIA, International Journal of Aquatic Sciences and International Aquatic Research
