Ping ZHUANG

biography

Ping ZHUANG was born on August 4, 1960. He received Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1999. Now, he is professor and deputy director of the East China Sea Fisheries Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences. He is also adjunct professor of the East China Normal University, Shanghai Ocean University, and Nanjing Agriculture University. He was selected as vice president of Chinese Society of Ichthyology in 2014. As a leading scientist, he is in charge of national fisheries research programs related to the estuary and coastal areas in China. He published 8 academic books and more than 200 papers, and won several China national scientific awards and honors.
