About Journal

Gastroenterology deals with study of normal functioning, diagnosis and treatment of stomach and intestine disorders. The digestive track that starts from the mouth and runs up to the anus, encompasses of various organs such as alimentary canal, esophagus, colon, rectum, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, liver, duodenum, small intestine and large intestine.

Gastroenterology deals with the functioning of each organ in the digestive system while focusing on various diseases that may attack them. The study facilitates a thorough understanding of the digestion process, absorption of nutrient values, and excretion. It also discusses the diseases that may affect these organs including polyps, cancer, ulcers, hepatitis, and refluxes.  

The journal offers its readers an interdisciplinary forum for clinical science and molecular research related to gastrointestinal disease and liver function.

Aim & Scope

JGDLF publishes papers reporting original clinical and scientific human research, which are of high standard and which contribute to the advancement of knowledge or research in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. The journal also publishes Reviews, Clinical Trial, Clinical Study Protocol, Original Research, Editorial, Case Reports on those specific topics, and technical expertise in a single source will be accepted, if of great interest and well investigated. Experts from all over the world will review the manuscripts. The international Editorial Board is dedicated to producing high quality scientific content on interest to researchers and clinicians. The manuscripts to be submitted to Journal should follow the ICMJE guidelines (CONSORT) for conducting and reporting of clinical trials. The authors must ensure that proper protocol has been followed for conducting the clinical trials and written informed consent form should be obtained from each trial subject before initiating the trial. The IRB or ethics committee approval should be obtained and proper monitoring of the trial should be ensured. All the case studies or clinical trial reports must follow guidelines for statistical analysis and reporting of trial results (SAMPL). The authors must be willing to provide the editorial board with the informed consent form and other ethical approval forms, if required.
