Pramod Kumar Yadav is working in the capacity of Assistant Professor in the Department of Computational Biology & Bioinformatics at Sam Higginbotom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences - Deemed University since 2007. He has graduated in Pharmacy from C.C.S. University, Meerut, India and post graduated in IT (specialization in Bioinformatics) from Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad, India. He has qualified GATE-2003 and 2004 and got scholarship from MHRD, New Delhi during his M.Tech. study. Dr. Yadav has an experience of 9 years in teaching and research in the field of Bioinformatics. He has published 17 research papers in reputed national and international journals, and written one chapter in a book published by an international publisher. He is editor and reviewer of several international journals such as PLoS ONE, Interdisciplinary Sciences: Computational Life Sciences (Springer), Current Computer Aided Drug Design,  Bioiformation, International Journal of Bioinformatics and Biological Sciences. He has supervised 9 M.Tech and 4 M.Sc students in their thesis work. At present 5 Ph.D. scholars are pursuing Doctoral research under his supervision. He has participated in 15 conferences/ workshops/symposia/seminars. His areas of research interest include, drug target identification, molecular modeling, docking, structure based drug design, molecular dynamics simulation, and in silico epitope prediction.
