biography

S.Prakash Rao (India 18 Aug 1977) is an Indian scientist who specializes in plant chemistry and pharmacognosy. He studied pharmacy at the University of RGPV Bhopal (university of technology of M. P.), where his Degree of Pharmacy (2003) achieved. In 2007 he earned his Master of pharmacy with specialization of Pharmacognosy from The Tamilnadu Dr MGR University, Chennai India. In 2014 doctorate he at the University Department of Pharmaceutical Science, Utkal University, Orisha, India on the topic “Development of some herbal formulation and their pharmacological investigation against peptic ulcer and hepatotoxic animals In- vivo models”. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in (Columbia Institute of pharmacy) chhattishgarh Swami vivekanand technical University India. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Associate Professor.

 

Area of Interest

His research has included Ethno medicine, Diabetic/Obesity, phyto chemistry, isolation, standardization of herbal product, Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals & expert Reviewers for journals. He has authored 2 Books, & 18research articles. He is a member of All India Pharmaceutical Teacher Association. We look forward to a close and lasting scientific relationship for the benefit of scientific community.
