biography

Dr. Bin Gong completed his M.D. and then received his PhD from Second Military Medical University, Shanghai, China. He worked as a Visiting Surgeon in the department of Surgery and National Institute of Thoracic Surgery at Changhai Hospital, Second Military Medical University, Shanghai, China. He was also an Exchange Visiting Scientist at Biomedical Engineering Center, UTMB, Texas. At Present he is an Assistant Professor in the department of Pathology, University of Texas Medical Branch, United States.

1. Functional role of small noncoding RNA in infectious diseases.

2. Identification and Characterization of novel druggable target in host during infectious diseases.

3. Application of Atomic Force Microscopy in infectious disease research.
