biography

Dr. Mustafa Afifi held his medical degree from Alexandria University in 1984 followed by Masters in Internal Medicine 1989. Then, he got three post- graduate diplomas in Mental Health, Primary Health Care and General Management. Finally, he held his Doctorate degree in Public Health on January 1997. 

After holding his doctorate, he worked in the Ministries of Health in Oman and the UAE as Specialist and Consultant for 17 years. In UAE, he was shouldered the responsibility of integration of mental health in primary care and was the coordinator of NCDs. 

His coming research would investigate the association of ADHD and atopic diseases among children and adults.
