Shih-Shin Liang

Associate Professor


Shih-Shin Liang received his BS degree from National Taiwan University (1999, Chemistry). After compulsory military service, he worked in a private corporation (Ritdispaly corporation, 2002-2004). He then obtained his Ph.D. degree from National Cheng Kung University (2008, Chemistry). After a postdoctoral fellowship at National Cheng Kung University (2009), he was recruited as an assistant professor by the Department of Biotechnology at Kaohsiung Medical University (2011~). At the same time, he was also appointed as a division head at the Center for Research Resources and Development of Kaohsiung Medical University (2011~). His research effort is devoted to the modification of affinity probes for proteomic and metabolomic research and the synthesis of nano-magnetic particles for bio-separation and purification.
