biography

Kenneth A. Kiewra is professor of educational psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Kiewra is certified in elementary education and secondary English education and has taught third grade. Kiewra earned his Ph.D. from Florida State University and was also on the faculty at Kansas State University and Utah State University. Kiewra’s research pertains to aspects of the SOAR teaching and learning methodand to talent development. He has authored many research articles and three books. Kiewra is the former director of the University of Nebraska’s Academic Success Center and the former editor of Educational Psychology Review. He has made nearly 500 presentations to community, faculty, and student groups.
