biography

Dr. Sun got his Ph.D. degree in Medicinal Chemistry from China Pharmaceutical University. After postdoctoral research in Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1995-1997),Aachen University(Germany, 1997-1998),and University of Florida (USA, 1998-2001), he joined Metabolex, Inc. as a scientist (2001-2003). Currently, he is"Yangtze River Scholar" Distinguished Professor and Director of Center for Drug Discovery at China Pharmaceutical University. His membership includes Regional Editorial member of “Recent Patents on Anti-Cancer Drug Discovery” (2008-2015), Editorial member of “Drug Discoveries & Therapeutics”, Editorial member of “Medicinal Chemistry”, Editorial member of “Chinese Journal of Medicinal Chemistry”, etc. He has published more than 170 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and is the inventor of more than 30 patent applications.
