Dr. Habib Md Reazaul Karim is presently working as Assistant Professor of Anaesthesiology & Critical care in the All India Institute of Medical Sceinces,Raipur, India. He has graduated (MBBS) from Assam Medical College & Hospital, Dibrugarh in 2007 followed by internship in the same college and hospital. He did post graduation (MD) in Anaesthesiology from North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences, Shillong; a premiere national ‘institute of national importance’ of Government of India in 2013. He is also a Diplomat of National Board (DNB) in Anaesthesia and has done Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM). He was associated with department of Anaesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine of NEIGRIHMS, Shillong for more than 6 years as academic and senior resident and provided service to the department of Emergency Medicine and Traumatology too. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor of Anaesthesiology in Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences, Port Blair. He has more than 50 national and international publications and has been associated with different national and international journals as reviewer and editorial board member. His area of interest is minimal and low flow anesthesia, pharmacoeconomics, cost effective health care, preanaesthetic evaluation and risk stratification, critical care, emergency medicine and trauma resuscitation. Has life membership of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine etc. He has also worked as Assistant Professor of Anaesthesiology in the ANIIMS and GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair, India.
