biography

Dr. Jimmy Efird is Assistant Director of the Center for Health Disparities, Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University (ECU). He also serves as Director of Epidemiology and Outcomes Research for the ECU Heart Institute and is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences. He has over 185 publications in scientific journals and technical proceedings
